Nervel was here yesterday to pick up *my* Waldrock ticket since *I* got grounded. Waldrock just started and I'm at home. Damn, I'm gonna miss Nile.

No problem, yeah, I heard about it, really sad, damn, if you would lose family on an event like this, it sucks pretty hard. Its good they cancelled it, but it makes me think who in their sane minds would go out with these temperatures. Though I've never really understood the history and the reasons behing walking the 'vierdaagse'.

Well, 46.000 people would go walking with this temperature.

I can't understand it either, but on the otherhand, if it is a nice event, then why not? Although I'd skip the walking part and go for a drink right away.

The event itself is alright, it can be fun, but with temperatures of over 30 degrees Celsius I find it just weird, I hardly move at all on days like these

I've read now that is no real historical reason behind it, except for tradition. I didnt know it was the biggest internation 'hike' (how do you call a 'wandeltocht' in english? ) though. The wikipedia article has already been updated with the tragic of this year, and with more stuff.

What was even more stupid, is that the preparations where good. The firemen came with a lot of water, people who live close to the course opened house for water, people with friends etc. walking had lots of bottles with water. Except for 7 km at the end, where there was a dike, with almost noone living there. Some mistake in the organisation, I guess. The victims probably had suffered most damage there.

Don't get me started on that one. I am still in tears. I somehow lost it while moving to a different hous to live in. And it is impossible to find nowadyas, so I keep on going into second-hand cd-shops and hope that someone disposed of it. I found Triangle of the Lost by Donor in such a way as well (you will like that oe also technical thrash) So now I only have Osiris' Equivocal Quiescence demo left on cassette.

Okay I sent a mail to Robbie Woning of Dead Head, since he is from the same town as Osiris and has helped them out a couple of times live. But as far as he knows the cd has been sold out for ages so the only possible way is to keep on looking on the net and in second hand shops.

Ouch, well this urely isn't a copy of master of puppets whcih can be bough from a random Cd Shop.

I sent an e-mail to Shark records for a while ago, they weren't able to give any useful information.

Robbie Woning (Dead Head) told me in his mail that Shark records doesn't have any copy at all any more of the album. And they won't reissue it either.
