I had Guitar Hero 3 the day it came out, but I sold it and my wii to get more metal stuff! I got Guitar Hero: On Tour (for the DS) which is decent, and this really shitty guitar Hero knockoff that has imitator songs on it such as 'Granite Man' (Instead of Iron Man lol). It's pretty fucking horrible.

Last night i played at a friends house the whole rock band. i tried out guitar and bass but on easy difficulty and loved it. it's really cool. i'm not so good so there were parts that got complicated for me sometimes, but it's really cool game. i remeber specially having a hard time on some parts of korn's freak on a leash and foo fighter's everlong. but still it was great. i also tried singing but it was hard for me. it was a nrivana song, i don't remeberthe name, but i couldn't keep up with the voice, and the drums i didn't even try, that's too much coordination for me

I tried it in PS2. I didn't liek it. I found it boring. Mayeb it's because my cousins do play real guitars and watching them play is really cool. Or mayeb it's because you see a bunch of idiot who think they're so cool 'cause they play X or Y song in the hardest difficulty. Dorks.

Dude i am wicked awesome at GH3! i dont play with a guitar though, i play with the controller and yes i have beat it on expert lol. I am able to beat two of the four songs from dragonforce on expert. Operation Ground and Pound, and Heroes of Time. But i havent played in awhile because my xbox blew up recently lol.

I'd play GH(on the PS2, with the controller, my computer is too shitty to run GH3), it's by no means a substitute for playing the real guitar but it's pretty fun and i'm sure i'd discover some new cool guitar-driven music while playing the game

I got yesterday the guitar so finally I can play. Right now I have GH3 but I'm planning on getting tomorrow the Metallica one. But anyway, so far I've been playing on easy because it's actually the level I can (barely) manage. I got stuck on the last challenge, the one with the bull thing monster. He just kicked my ass, but I was tired so I guess that had a lot to do. Still, that one is real hard, and I'm on the easy level... Damn, I have a long way to go, but still I love that game.

My 10 year old son can play all the songs on expert at or around 90% - GH, GH2, RB, RB2, GHA, GHM - even the mighty Dragon Force!(with the help of star power of course  ) It's so sick!

This game is really amazing i've been rocking on my guitar hero for about 3 months now first i started playing the guitar i got really good at it, but now i only play the drums they are so amazing and im getting really good at them, i spend hours playing everyday i've got the world tour and guitar hero 5, the track list on the world tour is better than on guitar hero 5, this game made my dream come true of becoming a rock star i guess

Honestly IMHO i think guitar hero and rock band are stupid. I would rather pick up an actual instrument then play some plastic guitar or drums.. It's stupid but i guess what ever floats your boat

Anyway, that has been my absolute favourite song for the last 7 years, I can honestly say I wouldn't be the same person without it. I got Guitar Hero: Metallica a couple of days ago. Of course it's by far the best GH game (yet). And I must say that I have a new respect for the band's music (and I have always loved Metallica)! I thought my arm was going to fall off during songs like "Disposable Heroes". Although some songs, songs I imagine some people struggle with, are actually kinda easy. Since I know the Metallica songs down to every last note I have no problem with the beat. It's an awesome feeling when you get 100 % on long solos at a high level.

The main thing I hate about guitar hero is the same thing I hate about every Activision game. Releasing the same game every year, with some new half assed levels. I'm glad they've stopped making guitar hero. It has nothing new to offer. I just wish they'd do the same with the call of duty series. I mean everyone saw how shit Black Ops was right?
