Heard very bad news from Tehran, they are killing ppl in Tehran and other citeies (12/27/2009) [again in the middle of the streets]. Today is one of Shea's (one of Muslim sect which is common in Iran) Religious days, they kill even in Religious days (about their Holly Martyr Hussein, Obama's Middle name!), they are not Human and their Leaders are Ahmadinejad and Khamenei. what did they do? (People) they like the truth, the truth about Election. a lot of Arab Police Riots which were learned how to kill Iranians are there in Tehran, I saw them with my own eyes (how I know they are Arabs? cause they talk arabic and dont know persian!). They learned to kill in "Hezbollah's" fields. yes this is what they call support of Palestine and Lebanon. Riot soldiers are coming from Lebonan, do somthing for Iranians. I cant not cry, yes Im crying to "Neda Aghasoltan", Im crying for a lot of ppl who dont have even a Pistol. Murder, Homicide, Massacre plz help. They kill youngs, girls, Granfathers, Granmothers. Kill 'Em All.

<<<<THEY SAY ISRAEL KILLS ARABS AND MUSLIMS, BUT LOOK HOW THEY KILL THEIR OWN PEOPLE. LOOK HOW THEY KILL MUSLIMS, IN THEIR RELIGIOUS DAYS.>>>>>

how can I sit and don't cry.

just support them and talk about what you know about their situations, believe me they have nothing, even a Pistol.

Most saddening thing I saw today was a high ranked police officer in Teheran say that the police NEVER shoot with sharp ammunition. WTF? Do they aactually think people believe that sort of nonesense?

Actually no one.. Because the pictures of shooting polices have been taken and are available on the internet and news broadcastings..
That fucker (whose name is Radan) first said in the morning today they are NO killings in Tehran.. But now he says it's 4 people, while the true number is 15 (so far).. And now they say that Mojahedin (a group who helped Khomeyni to bring down the Shaah but later eliminated by Khomeyni), English and some people of Musavi killed those people..
How pathetic it would be?! Just imagine Musavi killed his own nephew.. (His nephew was one of the killed people of yesterday)..
But. I'm sure Islamic Republic is in the end of the line.. Because they're doing exactly what Shaah did in his last days..

i won't argue any of your other points, but the atomic bombings do more damage than the "conventional" bombings because of the radiation effects which kill animals, plants, and even years later, humans who had nothing to do with the wars. wikipedia says 334 people have died of cancer and 231 of leukemia caused by the bombs' radiations.

the overall point i was making was that toll against:

Battle of Stalingrad World War II 1,250,000 #1942-43
Siege of Leningrad World War II 1,117,000 #1941-44
Battle of Berlin World War II 1,298,745 #1945

those give a decent baseline as to what the casualties would have looked like had WW2 evolved into a land war on Japan... it would not have been a war that could only have been won with conventional air bombings.

and yeah Dresden's death toll seems to have dropped over the years, from original estimates of 250,000 (!) to 90,000 (what i was taught in school), down to 25-40,000 now.

but enough off topicness... back to the deaths in Tehran which the rest of the world will do nothing about, aside from maybe a sternly worded letter. if that drastic course of action doesn't upset Russia/China too much.

Two wrongs: Iran has some part of arabic culture, but draws alot of influences of other cultures aswell, is polycultural. As for islamic culture, what is that? Islam is multinational and mutiethnic, spaning across many cultures with no clear definition...

I know. It's just that I don't really know the "proper" names of all those cultures and religions from the middle-east and from around there... but that's not the important part about the whole thing.

it can be of importance, the way we classify things may very well effect those who get the classified identity suscribed to themselves.

Anyway, the conflict in Iran is not about specific cultures I think, is more of a political struggle. Many people in Iran oppose their goverment regardless of religion, culture or ethnicity.

I don't say the use of radiation bomb was a right thing to do but I'll just bring some comparison to you... What Japanese soldiers did to Chinese women in Nanjing: ripping unborn children out of their mothers' stomachs, impaling people, meathookin' people, forcing fathers to rape their daughters and sons to fuck their mothers by threat of castration...

Not to speak of other "Cannibal Corpse cover art re-enactment" in REAL LIFE...to hundreds of innocent people who were basically RAPED to death in most awful manners...

I bet you'd rather be a lot more happier to be turned into thin air in less than a second by a nuclear blast than having the aforementioned things done to you or your close people...

And I'll not mention the Dresden fire storms either....ok, since I already mentioned it...being sucked up by a fire tornado on street... or mayb hide in your house's cellar and then be boiled/cooked to death there...it happened to many people whose water pipes broke on them...

And speaking of nuclear contamination....this can happen in a totally peaceful way such as in T?ernobõl in Ukraine... speaking of cancer and diseases...well, they occur rather often in all parts of world, don't they... HIV, cancer and other diseases...I bet the Japanese ain't the only ones...

Finally... I don't say "it was cool to use the A-bomb"... I am very sorry for people who got killed...I am sorry for those who have had cancer afterwards...BUT... had it not been so, maybe something worse would have happened... plus...we KNOW now what an A-bomb really can do...

Plus you already saw the statistics BitterCold showed you...

@BitterCOld, I just siad what I thought its true. how can you accept Nakazaki and hiroshima's bombarding with nuclear bombs for ending a war? so if they had nuclear bomb (for example hitler) war would end very sooner! and now we were living in the Supermen's world! thank u about ur historical information about WWII, but Ive read a lot and yes I know about Pearl Harber. True, I dont like USA, but it doesnt mean that I dont like ppl or country, I dont like Goverment and Interfurences. they has brought hell in middle east themselves. they supported a lot of bad things over here and now they are trying to say that we like to save u. no its not the truth you are here just cause you take Advantage.

Look what I have written above...

I think you either didn't read through BitterCold's post or you simply didn't understand or didn't bother to understand...

What he told you is right...

In fact, as Queen Rania once said, only 20% of the Islamic culture space is Arabic/Arabic-speaking.... There's a lot of muslims in China (I wouldn't be surprised if China'd be the country having most muslims in the world although in China islam a minority religion)...add all the Turkish-speaking peoples plus Persians plus the peoples of India and all the peoples of Central-Asia in general...plus don't forget South-Europe: Bosnia and Albania have muslim population...that indeed makes Arabs not the most numerous ones... I'd also note that there's quite a number of Arabic countries which practice normal islam without the fundamentalism and stuff...

Also... these were the Arabs who first started distilling strong alcohol : )

Worst news is their men have beaten "Khatami" when he was talkin in a meeting place. "Khatami" was Iran's ex President who asked "United Nations" for "Dialogue Among Civilizations". http://www.thelavinagency.com/speaker-mohammad-khatami.html

@Azhidahak, Respect. but there is one thing which is very dangerous IMO my friend, and its the green revolution's leaders. I mean their own history and things which they did before. my fear is about Musavi who dont even talk a minute in foreign Iranian TV channels or radios after this situations. I have doubt that they can be good for us. Rafsanjani, Khatami, Musavi, karrubi and others were leaders of this regime either. and a lot of them are Akhunds (mullas). now ppl call Allah in the middle of the nights, what Allah brought for you 30 years ago (this was ppl's most saying word in those days Allaho Akbar: Allah is Great). why now you do the same thing again? some says ppl dont like even Musavi but its just a katalizör (Musavi and those slogans about allah). but I say its dangerous! world wont accept us if we say we dont like Musavi neither after Revolution. there is a little soothing light for me about them, "They are changed". then its ok! but I wont forgive their awful acts.
the Picture of Khomein in Musavi's websites drains my hope.

my friends say that they have blocked www.metal-archives.com recently. It has a big point, this regime doesnt believe that they can see the end soon! they are filtering metal sites! hahahahahaha, funny and yes very dangerous. they thought that they can do anything under the name of the fake god which they brainwashed ppl with its name: Allah.

@ ppl who talks about USA's forces for saving Iran. hahahahaha, dont you think its too late? now we can do with our hands, we just need supports of western countries with real prohibitions of economic things btw their countery and iran. Dont buy oil for example from iran.

@Black God: You are missing a big point my friend. I dont give a crap about mousavi, khatami or any other person who is in anyway associated with the regim. Thats not whats important, at all. Whats important is the DOWNFALL of the current regime, what happens AFTER that is the NEXT problem. Good or bad, mousavi is the only leader that EXIST in Iran, there is no other choice. Right now, good or bad, these people are our only hope to take down the government and make a revolution. Once that is done, then we can vote and argue about what happens next.

Remember, this is Iran, a country where the m****fu*** ayatollahs have ruled with dictatorship for over 30 years now, you cant go from ZERO to HERO in 6 months, lets take one step at a time.

right said but there is a very thin line btw be better or be worse and why? those ppl who had made 30 years before's revolution were very educated in politics and had a lot of different views and nice thoughts. but now they are ABSOLUTELY TIRED AND HUNGRY. then just saying this is the only way wont help ppl my friend. we have a good phrase in persian which says : "از چاله تو چاه افتادن" and it means "rising from a little hole and fallin into a deep pit". as 30 years before. this is my fear.

Yeh... it's what we call here "from rain under the eave" or "from frying pan into the fire"...

But well...there is not much choice at the moment but Musavi... The main thing that is needed is the taming of the regime... it's ugly what the extremist leaders do and this shouldn't be allowed to go on like this...

For sure... any US or Jewish invasion or interference is a no no... that'd surely be the case I just mentioned in the first line...

Marcel, after 30 years they were fixing the structures last year when I was in Shiraz! its a shame yes. I hope when you go back there again you could see all of those things as they were! cause goverment didnt pay attention to them so much. that beautiful country became a little ...
but we will make it again, just wish for a true democratic goverment for Iran then you will see Iran can be at least the 5th big touristic country of the world. I wish good things and I have hope.
