Damn, you might be right. I don't want to reject people from the group, but it shouldn't get too big either. At the moment, I don't really have much time. I have a friend overhere. I'll extend the deadline with a week -so you can PM those you talked about- and we can discuss the problems.

Maybe there should be a special quotas or rules how to take a new member. I dont know at the moment how it should look like, but it would be one idea to help minimize the people who could join the group - a little test with some questions to test how much you really know about extreme metal - so if you really belong to the group, you should pass the questions with ease (I dont mean questions about unknown bands, but questions about well known topics about extreme metal). Or would it be too difficult and maybe it doesnt have the right result?

But maybe it should really only be either death, black, etc.. metal group like someone already said in his previous post - it would also minimize the memebers list.

Why don't we take one banner, let's say for example the banner of KryptoN, he has some free space in the down-right corner. In that little space, we can put our own name. Our own nickname, which can be your MS-Username, or whatever you want. You can put it in their in your own design.

So the Death metallers can go for 'Mutilator' in their gory design, the Black metallers can go for 'Satan' in their own satanic design (don't mind the stereotypes). So with that, everyone would have a different banner, so it wouldn't be boring. And we solved the problem of the 'split'.

Tell me, what about this?

The idea to put your name somewhere into the banner sounds good, but the idea to have a banner for every extreme metal style souns a bit too wide and outspread. And it wouldnt minimise the amount of people who would want to join the group just because they like some black, death etc.. bands. The idea itself - the separate banners - itself is good, but it wouldnt abolish the problem. My opinion - will free to argue!

I think this tread are for those who like extrieme thinks like fighting and Violance in football(I love it) but damn its for extrieme metal fans

I like extrieme metal, old school bands like - Venom, WASP,Coroner, Abatour, Attacer, Sodom, Celtic Friost, Hellhammer, Bulldozer, King Diamond/Mercifull Fate, Bathory, Possessed
Old school thrash benas from bat Area-Slayer, Exodus, Megadeath; Metallica, Testament, Overkill, but only albums from 8oties, its about German thrash, UK too, band lke Sabbat and Brazilian, Sarcofago, Holocausto
Death metal-well againd OLd School, Morbid Anegel, Death, Cahedreal, Edge of sanity, Kathedra, Katafalc
Black- I love all from it, ok maybe 80% ogf it

Well, so far the group has about 18 members. This is not so much, I'd say. Especially not, when we all have a different banner. You see, having 18 of the same banners is quite a lot, but having 18 different banners is not so much.

So, it will just 'avoid' the problem.

I'm not sure that I understand how this works yet but I am very interested in joining. I read the entire thread and I'm still not sure I get it but I understand it's like Hampster Metal but for Extreme metal so that's cool. How do I get in on this?

Oh and I have another question...will this club will support every extreme genre? I think it would be better if we draw the line for some genres like Black Metal or that kind of crap...if we start receiving banners with some blakc and white dude dressed like the crow..meh..that's not as cool as a banner with blood and corpses...

...i actually don't know why black metal is considered for some around here as extreme metal...imo you should draw a line between genres and subgenres...it's extreme metal or it is not, i think there's no middle side...
