i dont mean movies that are SO good that they blow your minds. i'm talking about movies that were either horrible, or so weird that they fucked your mind with sever headaches for being so weird, or random, or confusing, or slow or whatever....they are basically created to induce migraines

so what some movies that induce insane migraines? i would vote Donni Darko, and The Machinest

reason why i pick donni darko is becuase the whole movie was so dry and random. from a weird fucked up guy dressed in a bunny suit, to einstines E=MC square theory, to weird projectiles comming out of peoples bodies to one of the slowest, and pointless plots ever made. it was a really bizar movie that almost semt like it came out of the twilight zone

the machinist coz he is running away from himself, or soemthing. he is dreaming, yet he hasnt slept for over a year...its one bizare movie with weird de-ja vu and other weirdness. i still dont get what the movie was teaching me...

what are your mind fucks?

Eraserhead is the most mindfucking movie of all time. that's all i'll say,

The most recent movie to fuck my mind was The Departed. When wathing the movie, try and put yourself in Leonardo DiCaprio's shoes, and then tell me you could have handled a situation like the main character does if you had to, knowing what is going to happen should your identity be discovered.

Another classic mindfuck is The Clockwork Orange, a true must see for anyone.

I thought I'd already mentioned that movie in here. But if not, then I really do agree! Amazing movie.

Inland Empire, David Lynch' latest movie, is also great!

But I'm starting to dislike this threat since 'mind fucking' is getting broader here. Maybe just transform this threat in an arthouse film threat or something.

I've seen Begotten last night. I don't know if I would call it a mindfucking film, but it's fucked up, that's for sure. I still don't know if I liked it or hated it.

That is a great example of a mind fucking movie... Since you cant even succeed to form your own opinion of it. I myself think the movie is good, but in a damn different way. A must see for lovers of avantgarde movies. Try Eraserhead also from David lynch if you havent seen it, it is also brilliant.

Of course I've seen it
Tetsuo is kinda similar too, now that I think of it, symbolising the mechanisation of the world as time goes by.

Oooh I definitely want to see Tetsuo. But if everything goes well I'll be able to see it soon. Can't wait!
Eraserhead is great, I own a DVD of that movie.

And I've looked up Begotten... Woah, that looks interesting too! Looks a bit like Eraserhead. I hope Begotten is easy to find.

I can get you some rapidshare links if you're interested. The DVD is VERY hard to find. There's only one copy on E-Bay and it's $130.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fight Club and Se7en the first time I watched these I completely tripped out, having to watch them a 2nd and 3rd time to fully appreciate it, and no im not obsessed with Brad Pitt.

Ive actually comr to the conclusion that Fear and Loathing is the most fucked, it may not have a crazy out of wack hard to understand plot but the lines and the drug trips that get show really make you trip out.

Watching Fear & Loathing makes me want to take acid! Its hilarious when Johnny Depp wakes up in the flooded apartment with that huge lizard tail stapped to himself.
Another drug based movie that is totally fucked up is Requiem for a Dream. Talk about watching 4 lives go to shit badly. They should show this movie to kids at school when the usual "dont do drugs" talks take place.

i was remembering the other the mind-fuck i had the fisrt time i saw 12 monkeys. i don't know if i'm the only one, but i sure had to watch it again so i could start understanding it, hehe. IMO that was one of those movies in which you have to think and concentrate so you can get the whole idea, and i like that. specially now when movies seem to be done just to show people what can be done with the latest computer technology... leaving good stories in a second plane, or just without a story

I know that you might not sort Martix as Mind Fucking movie, but when you really think about it ... oh yeah it is, if you really understood everysingle point and event in it you will agree with me.
I've seen the 3 of them like 10 times each just to get all the points

I can't recall any mind-fucking films at the moment...perhaps "Mulholland Drive"...since it's very difficult to understand what's going on there....then..."21 grams"...an acquaintance told that one should be offered a handgun while watching this film so that one can commit suicide when the film turns too mind-fucking or depressive....
"Requiem For A Dream"....without any doubt....classic in this genre....
"My Little Eye"...a disturbing film of people who think they're starring in a "Big Brother"-like reality show but end up learning the fact that they're actually victims of snuff site owners....
And well...if to mention "Begotten" and avant-garde/surreal cinema, then one should try "Un Chien Andalou" by Salvador Dali and Luis Buñuel....eyeball slit open with a razor...rotting corpse of a donkey....need I say more? Besides....at least I didn't understand any meaning of this film....

Yea, have to agree David Lynch films are the way to go if you want to end up with brain damage.

Failing that, find the most Japanese sounding anime you can and don't bother with subtitles.

Donnie Darko would be totally mindfucking if you don't visit a website explaining some points and all.. American Beauty is also in this category, you might have to watch the movie twice to get it thoroughly, also pan's labyrinth if you don't get sucked in it's quite hard to get...

i generally don't like this type of films so i only reccomend these 3(AB and DD are among my favourite all time movies though)
