As far as I'm aware, she's either a closet lesbian or a very tomboy-ish pony. That kind of stuff of course will interest those who dig the show.

Word of god, AKA Lauren Faust the creator, has said that RD is not a lesbian and likely never will be one. That's a dissapointment, because if anything adding a gay character will really put the love and tolerance stuff to the test.
Buti in reality I think the character (or characters) with the most potential of coming out are Lyra and Bon-bon, two background ponies that are almost always seen with each other. The fanbase ships them together so much it's pretty much headcanon.

Yeah but we never see them together. We rarely see them at all.

So guys, Season 2 has ended (bit late for that one but nevermind) with S3 coming out August/September. In this time are you's gonna occupy time by watching other shows - apparantly Regular Show and Adventure Time are meant to be good, but i've never seen them? Or are you gonna re-watch all of S1&S2?

I think the most likely happening for me is re-watching both series' but skipping all the sub-standard episodes (The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well, ect.) and writing MLP fanfics (which i'm currently doing atm ^^)

I keep meaning to re-watch my favourite episodes of season 1 and 2 (most of them being Fluttershy episodes), but have yet to get around to it... The only MLP-related thing I've been doing lately is looking at pony pics and memes lol Though one of my friends says he'll pay me to crochet a Rainbow Dash plushie so maybe I'll actually do that. I've been thinking of making DJ PON-3 or another one of the minor characters too, just because I've seen enough of the mane six all over deviant art

Yeah definately, despite her character development being a bit shoddy, all of her episodes never fail to make me laugh, or b'aww whenever she's does anything cute (which is virtually anything she does ).

I didn't buy it because I feel like I have too many t-shirts and am short enough on cash as it is, but now I'm thinking of going back and seeing if it's still there lol I told my friend to get me a Fluttershy pin from Anime North but haven't found out if he actually did yet

I apologize if it seems like I'm whining, and we just started this thread up again, but the elements of harmony are not strong with the idiotic and off-topic first 3 pages, and it almost makes me want a new thread .___.

Meh, even if they were hating, they were still talking about the show so it's close enough to being on-topic... If people have actually watched the show and didn't like it, that's fine. It's people who critisize bronies without even watching the show that I have a problem with (especially when they use age and gender stereotypes), but my usual reaction is to laugh and assume that they're just insecure about their masculinity or maturity or something... Hell, I should feel sorry for them for missing out on a good show lol

But on a related note, how open are you guys about liking MLP outside of the internet? I've talked to people online from other sites who were really into the show, but they said they kept it secret from people they knew in real life or only told their close friends and family. I'm not like that at all. I can proudly admit to it, and I even tell other people they should watch it. A lot of my close friends are also bronies and they're not secretive about it at all either. Many of them even wear pony merch or have MLP-related pics on their facebook.

I find it quite funny that some people say they "admit" too it as it's some sort of really bad drug , but I normally don't go mentioning it to people unless I know they like/have heard of the show. Even though lots of my friends don't want/have a particular interest in the show they find parodies of it pretty funny (or if it's mentioned on something like Rooster Teeth or other popular podcasts).

Never been too fond of the merch though, but I might consider getting a fluttershy "yay" shirt sometime in the future, but all I want are metal shirts atm

I kind of want to get that shirt and wear it to a metal concert just to see people's reactions... I keep seeing people at shows wearing shirts with cartoon/game characters, like Power Rangers, Mario, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, or whatever, but not anyone with a MLP shirt

I'll admit to it to people who won't be idiots about it. Unfortunatly, due to my age, those people are few.

Wow that's a great idea. The perfect oppurtunity would have been at an Aborted gig last week, I would have looked so out of place .
Let's hope there are some br00tal bands touring in the summer and I can get enough to buy the shirt!

On the other topic of all the previous pages of "discussion" from people who don't like the show, I guess they are aloud to have their say since it's a forum 'n all. Thought there may be a few more people who are into the show on MS, but I guess it's a good thing that there aren't absolutely loads.

So... My (good) headphones went out, and I don't have the money to buy some more. The one pair I do have (headphvnes) put the background music FAR above the dialogue, so I pretty much can't watch it with them. Any suggestions on a way I can watch it? (My sister's watching the TV.)

Hmm, all I can suggest is watching it on TV (tv-on-demand, or something similar) or either blast it out your computer speakers . For me though watching MLP at 3am on a 42-inch TV is pretty awesome.

I bet Dave Mustaine likes MLP.

Also I got new headphones. Yay.

What did you think of the last 2 episodes?

I think the "fanboy-ism" settled for me really at the start of Season 2 when going onto live-streams to watch all the new episodes (then re-watching it in HD on youtube). So I guess probably in/after the summer when the new season starts, or you could always watch all of season 1 to see if it sinks in!

And I love how they follow-up the "Fluttershy is a tree" thing by actually having her pretending to be a tree in a later episode, hahaha....

I'm only apart of the groups that some of my deviations get invited in to. Other than that I don't really go on DA that much :/. Maybe I should go lurk more on it since nearly all the artwork is absolutely amazing. I saw a video once of some guy (or girl) drawing the mane 6 as futuristic robots, might go check that out again later.

Yeah, i think they should make more of those type of references in Season 3 (unless i've blatantly missed a load of those )
