@the alchemist: what i saw on the news was that apparantly some men from the venezuelan army were trying to get into Colombia to talk with some men or something, and something happened and shots were fired, so everyone freaked out, specially becuase apparently some people were wounded.

Well, I haven't bought it yet, as Epica concert hasn't been cancelled, that will be announced on the 20th. That's what the seller on Via libre told me. They're not giving back the money yet.

yeah, i think it's great that mor bands are coming, specially if maiden came. i guess that that is something that's gonna open a lot more doors for more great bands to come!

Go to this restaurant "LA Fonda" in Itagüí. Kick ass Bandeja Paisa. The best in town. Although I'm not sure if you'll be able to eat all of it Only well trained paisa stomachs can handle such monstrosity.
- Obviously go to the Pueblito Paisa...
- Visit the sculpture park near the Parque Berrio Metro station...
- Go to the Museo fo Antioquia, near teh Parque Berrio Metro station too.
- Eat buñuelos at Mi Buñuelo...
- Take a walk in Junín street
- MMM... Go to Santa Fe de Antioquia if you have the chance...
Can't think of anything else for now.

if you get the opportunity again you should make all the way here. there's a lot of cool places to visit, that i'd also like to visit. the only real problems of travelling within colombia is the guerrillas and that stuff, insecurity in general. but still there's a lot of amazing landscapes that are so worth seeing!

True, there's danger with the guerrilla but it's very important to know that it isn't a problem everywhere in the country, there are safe areas to visit.
