everyone having a good weekend? freshers week starts on monday at my uni so hopefully that means more fresh meat for the rock society

And what is this..? Activity in this thread of ours.. haha. I have been kind of away lately so I haven't had much time to spend it in the forums.
That is amusing that you get more of England in Scotland than you do Scotland! Even though it is actually harder to watch a game here now because all the world cup qualifiers are on Setanta Sports which no one has in their own homes... oh well.

Yeh, freshers week.. now I feel old!!! Damn those young people, haha!!! I just enrolled this morning for another year of fun.
I haven't done much apart from go out though.. apart from going to see Metallica.. which was interesting! Go look at the review if you haven't already - I have never been in such a huge arena!!!

i haven't seen metallica yet, i think i'm the only one out of my mates who hasn't. i'll read your review later on

same, i have a year left and i should graduate in june with a MA hons in social history which is a terrifying thought, i'll have to get a real job and such...

At least I have these seminars this year at university helping me decide what I will do after university.
I think I might go for a teaching course, we need more teachers at the moment and it's a job I wouldn't mind doing. We'll see though.

Haha, well I am glad to be back because I am back with friends and having fun, etc. but I am actually really not looking forward to this semester of university. Nothing appeals to me at all here.
I just hope it will be manageable.

i'm only in for 5 hours a week!
at the stage now where the first lecture is exactly that, no introductions, no public speaking. it's good, but a bit of a shock to the system

&the early starts... 12pm and half 3

I have a 09:00 start on Monday, Thursday and Friday on some weeks!!

I fell off a BMX and broke my collar bone. I am in a lot of pain. Hahaha.

It is fractured, there is a big lump coming out the top of my bone.. haha.
They put me in a sling and I have to go back to the fracture clinic on Friday.

This is so painful though, moving anywhere is very hard. Can't get dressed or anything.. it took me literally hours to get up off the settee this morning the pain was so bad, and that is with super painkillers - haha!
What a mess.. oh well. It is an experience anyway!!

Thanks! It is very painful even with super strong painkillers.. and I am still going to try and crawl into university tomorrow. Although wearing what, I don't know.. I can't get the arm through a sleeve.

Baz - once I fell from my biceicle and hit my had to asfalt and I was bleeding like dont know, I didnt went to doctor and Im alive I was wrry young n stupid

I always thought if someone shood you it is nicer how broke something
Im so afraid of bone brokes .....

I know guy who's lil' older how em,he broke his leg, his bone was outside of skin, he didnt go to doctorr some 4 months , bone start rott, I havnt hear about him , but what docs sad even if tahy take of his leg, he can die if infetions

I did that last September. There's a very horrible picture somewhere of me trying to take food out of an oven with my arm in a foam sling and my lower body wrapped in a pink blanket...

Hahaha. Thankfully I didn't need anything but a sling, time and painkillers. I am actually using both hands to type now which feels SO SO SO good after only using one hand. Still, it isn't fixed yet - but it is getting there thank goodness!

Also, I will just warn you all that for Halloween I am going to be dressing as Jessie - as in Jessie & James of Team Rocket from Pokémon. Hahahaha, yes, a girl.
I have a white skirt on right now - hopefully I will have the whole costume together in time because if I do, this will be so cool. And you lot will see some scary pictures!! Hahahaha.
