Anyway, here's a thread for metalheads from croatia, if there still are any around here

let me remind you that it's strictly forbidden to use any language but english in this thread, so please don't mess it up.

I think I won't vote at all. Both options have its ups and downs. If I was to vote, I would vote FOR, only for the chance to go to some of the EU countries and study/work there.

At least you got a chance to vote, Serbia is a candidate for a candidate for a candidate still
Did you notice any changes in your country since you were declared candidates? Bigger foreign investments going down? Our news channels aren't exactly informative when it comes to neighboring countries and I try not to search for news on politics on the internet, since I binge on those IRL anyway. I like asking first hand instead

Honestly? Not many changes, no. I mean, we've been in a hurry to adjust our customs and regulations to the way EU demands it (one of them I feel myself is Bologna treaty, relating to school and education, I can now only take an exam to maximum of 4 times, old students could have done it indefinitely), but other than that, not really. I mean, OK, EU has been giving us a lot of money, I won't deny it. But in order for the real change and economic growth to be felt, it takes time and effort. Lots of it. Hope that answers something

What's important is that you peeps are getting some work done and for whatever it means, I'm personally proud of you, you're the first ones from these war torn ex-Yugoslavian countries to move on (not counting Slovenia since they didn't have a lot of problems separating)... we're still deep in the mud, and god knows Bosnia's even worse I don't think people here will ever learn. And the number of young folks on(in?) Balkans who hate the people from their neighboring countries is just staggering. I hate that. We've all had way too much shit in the past, can't we all just chill the fuck out?

I suppose that's one way of looking at it. Yeah, I feel the same. There's still way too many people living in the past, and until they die, nothing much will change. You're either a communist or a fascist. Hopefully, day will come when people will indeed chill the fuck out, let the past stay in the past and make something for the progress and the future of our countries.

EDDIT: What does BBB and Torcida members thing about this

I think they don't really care

I'm gonna vote for us joining. If nothing else, the borders are going to open up, and I hope that's going to bring me more job opportunities once I finish college. I'm not sure about our economy improving much after we join, at least not in the near future. The problem is that people are still stuck in the socialist state of mind from ex-Yu. In those days the government gave you a job in a state owned firm, a good deal on a house, and you were safe until retirement without having to work or worry much. After 40 years of that system you get a bunch of people who don't really care for the success of the company they work for. I fear that such a mentality is going to scare of potential investors.

I went to vote, about 12% of the people with the right to vote voted before 11 a.m.

The football league is fucked. One of the vice-presidents of the federation was arrested a while back, so is the president of referee commission, and players aren't getting payed. There are no domestic league matches on TV anymore...

We are all hockey freaks now http://www.erstebankliga.at/de/vereine/khl_medvescak_zagreb

EDIT: 33,79% of people voted before 16:00

As far as I know, the only way you can watch the croatian football league is if you get T-com's IPTV service, because they are the leagues main sponsor.

The BBB are mostly occupied by trying to make Z. Mamić leave his position as Dinamo's vice-president.
As for Hajduk, here is what the president of the supervision board said: "There is no money, and probably wont be any."

Maybe we should start a petition for organizing a Medve?čak - Luleå friedly match. That would be interesting.

Does Hajduk be down in 2 leuage?

I doubt it can hepen , because Swe, Fin teams sont care about even Europeiahn Trophy, Swe teams simply played not to try waste energy , and get injuries... and also if it ever hepens I think for Cro ppl its be more fun how swedes , since game wont be on TV , be somehwere in Dalarna or 3th level team towns

No, they are not officially bankrupt. They are going to cut down expenses. They have a young team, which probably doesn't have large salaries. Also some very rich people own Hajduk stocks, so I guess they could invest more money.

Dynamo Moscow came and played a friendly match with Medve?čak in Arena Zagreb, I guess you're right about Medve?čak - Lulea. But at least we can dream about it

Dinamo wanna make KHL propoganda there in Blakans,a nd Swe and Fin has no interests, its our leuage we have own deal, AIK, Djurgårdens, Luleå, Modo, Leksands, Skellefteå, BjörklövenFärjestads, , leither HV71, Linköpings, big names, ok Södertälje what was in old days well imigrants killed SSK in Sweden, any of those teams if go you shood be happy
Or some Allsvenskan team who would try harder, but we have no CL in hockey , mid season have no time, pre season players are not in bets shame its for coches and experts
