so what some movies that induce insane migraines? i would vote Donni Darko, and The Machinest
reason why i pick donni darko is becuase the whole movie was so dry and random. from a weird fucked up guy dressed in a bunny suit, to einstines E=MC square theory, to weird projectiles comming out of peoples bodies to one of the slowest, and pointless plots ever made. it was a really bizar movie that almost semt like it came out of the twilight zone
the machinist coz he is running away from himself, or soemthing. he is dreaming, yet he hasnt slept for over a year...its one bizare movie with weird de-ja vu and other weirdness. i still dont get what the movie was teaching me...
what are your mind fucks?

Has anyone seen Nekromantik? It is a German horror flick (although it isn't really scary, just sick as hell) about a necrophiliac couple. The main character brings home a dead body and he and his wife have sex with it. Actually the sex scene is pretty funny, especially the part where the man sucks the eye out of the corpse's eyesocket. But the ending scene is quite a mindfuck, at least considering my notion of "mindfuck".

Damn, those are some crazy movies you guys are talking about. My suggestion falls under wierd and random, as well as the craziest twist I have ever seen. Korean film called Oldboy. Its one of the most amazing films I have seen and you would never guess the twist unless you read about the movie first or your just one of the people who always say "I knew all along" this man is kidnapped and thrown in a cell for 15 years without explanation and is then released now someone is leading him on a journey to find out why.

Requiem for a Dream is NOT the movie to watch stoned. ESPECIALLY the ending.

The way they talk to the audience was really creepy, I don't think it was ever meant to be realistic, just surreal. And how they rationalized everything was soul-wrenching, even up to the black hole conversation.

Pasolini's Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma is just... I don't have words to describe it really. It's imoral, unethical, all bad. And it's difficult to watch, especially if you are a woman.

I watched the butterfly effect i and i almost go crazy as soon as it ended. it freaked me up, confused me, made me think about all sorts of things... damn! it was rough, but a really great movie. it does make your mind work for a couple of days, at least that's how it was with me, but it's really worth the watch. i thought it was just anther cheesy movie 'cause it starred ashton kutcher, but fortunatly it wasn't that, it was great. also i wactehd crash, and that was also a great movie that moved my brain all around. very well written and developed

I grew up with horror flicks and am a huge horror buff, the original Black Christmas (1979) is a great flick and rather unnerving (I was fairly young when I first saw it).

"À l'interieur" is a very traumatizing film....While Stephen King's "The Mist" has a traumatizing end scene, most of "À l'interieur" is really horrifying and unpleasant.....

I would say 2001: A Space Odissey is a really mind fucking movie. I don't really mean the plot but the whole atmosphere during the entire film was just unpleasant... The silence of the space was really creepy at times and HAL's voice was so cold that I was afraid of him Even if the movie wasn't THAT long [2 hours and a half] the way the movie flows is soooooooooo slow that it was crazy. The plot is quite easy to understand from the beginning but the ending is a big "wtf?" and that's totally a mind fucking thing.

06.01.2009 - 17:28 Written by X-Ray Rod on 06.01.2009 at 14:46 It's been a long time since I've seen that film. I loved it, but there were moments where I thought "jeez dude, speed up a little". But those moments in space, with "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (I think) blasting, the eerie voice of HAL 9000 (I knew with his first words he'd go 'crazy')... I also really enjoyed the part where he breaks into the mainframe or whatever you kill it, and slowly kills HAL... the song, the lowering of the voice, all very suffocating. The acid effects when he passed through the monolithe were great but a little too much imo. What was your conclusion on the ending? I always thought he became God or at least an infinitely higher and divine creature, reborn and watching over the earth.

06.01.2009 - 19:07 Written by Lucas on 06.01.2009 at 17:28 The slow way to kill HAL totally slays. The song was the creepiest shit on that scene "Daaaaaaaaisy.... Daaaaaaisy!!!!" Athought I really felt sad during that scene because you clearly see a good connection between HAL and Dave... especially when HAL start to beg him "Please... stop." or "My mind goes away....I can feel it.... I can feel it." Well I admit that sometimes it was waaaaaaaaaay to slow. For example the acid effect you said... when Dave goes through all that stuff and it's like 5 minutes of that and you're like: C'MON!!! I GET THE IDEA!!!! Althought the crazy inside of me thought that was brilliant and kinda mesmerazing The ending remains me a lot of the way the movie started. Since when the monkeys touched the monolith they get somehow the knowledge from whatever/whoever maked that monolith and that's how they became smarter and so on. With Dave, I thought it was the same thing. He got some contact with the monolith and slowly got the knowledge from the monolith and became something more than just a human.

I know what you mean about Ashton Kutcher, you see he's in it and think it's gonna be corny and crap, but it turns out to be very serious. I think he does a great job and showed that he's acually a really good actor. That one definately plays with your emotions and makes you think a bit about life. I got Aguirre: Wrath Of God for me birthday the year before last. It's an old film starring Klaus Kinski about the conquistadors lookin for El Dorado and it's really, really slow but it leaves you feeling quite strange. Klaus drives the film and is quite intense. Have a little read about him, he was a nutter.

I can recommend u "Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" by Luis Bunuel. this was the last mindfucker movie i saw. every thing in this film is a dream. there is one scene that guests are in the house of host and gathered around the table. after servant bring the chickens for them they notice that chickens are artificial and after that the curtain falls and they notice that they are in theater and people are watching them. that was my favorite scene. highly recommend If you are looking for a nervefucker movie i recommend you to watch twentynine palms by bruno dumont. this movies is about a photographer and his paranoiac girl friend. paranoia of this girl will fuck your nerve as much as possible but u must tolerate and without jumping chapters watch this till end. i know after watching this u pm me all abusive word u know but actually this is good movie.this is an experimental movie and i'm sure u didn't saw something like this. recomended.

Anyway a couple of films that made me think Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Children of Men, Requiem for a Dream, Identity and Dead End. Some I didn't totally get but enjoyed all the same are Donnie Darko, Lost in Translation and Virgin Suicides. Total utter crap that makes no sense: Lost Highway.
