Hi there MetalStormers!!! My name is Diego (but in the cyberworld I'm best known as Daggon, the Dark Knight... well, just Daggon jeje). I discovered this site last April, but I've never introduced myself to all of you. I have 20 fucking years, and I started listening to metal (or something similar to metal) when I was 15. I love Metal!!!! jaja. I need to practice my english so if you see any mistakes in my messages please tell me jeje. My top 5 favorite bands are Rhapsody Of Fire (and all Luca Turilli's side projects muajaja), Therion, Iron Maiden, Slayer and (since some weeks ago) Opeth. I like almost every Metal genre (well brutal Death Metal is kinda boring). Feel free to add me on your MSN or MySpace. Thanks!

I'm Jared Scirocco,and my favorite styles of metal are industrial/heavy/groove/thrash.My favorite metal bands are Rammstein and Pantera.I don't believe Emigrate or Avenged Sevenfold count as metal bands,but are alright too.I came to this site after being dissapointed at metal-archives.com,it's a huge fucking site,but all the mods and administrators are "spoon fed"morons who don't research music for themsleves very well.They say Rammstein isn't metal,that's fucking hilarious,I've heard ever Rammstein song up to date,and the only one I don't listen to is "Nebel".They are for the most part industrial metal and quite a bit traditional heavy.Any one who has a question on Rammstein,ask me,there is very little I don't know about them.

No offense,but it's not a matter of agreement,if you know the sty;e of industrial and heavy metal,then you will realize that Rammstein fall into those genres,to me,knowing these styles,it's not even debatable,Rammstein are metal,and that's that.Take an industrial band like Combrichrist for example,and add Rammstein's style of guitar riffs,and guitar playing,and you have industrial metal.

Welcome and yes, Rammstein is metal don't belief those buttplugs at MA.

Even though I'm not really new (I signed up in April 07) I've never introduced myself. I'm Brighton. I live in Seattle and am 18 years old. Metal consumes my soul like most people on here. I can like any band if the band in particular does the job well. The genres I listen to the LEAST are Power metal and probably what some would consider Flower Metal. I can say some pretty stupid shit sometimes but its probably because I think its funny. MOOOOOOOOK...

Hey. If you want more information on metal, the forums are probably your best bet. And read some of the reviews on the frontpage, if you read 5 or 6 you'll probably get a lot of info about different styles, and most reviews have links to myspaces and all that.
