Pretty surprised there isn't already a thread like this unlike other communities, but hey you gotta start somewhere! Something i've always disliked about MLP is the community. [rant] Either 14-year-old-or-something neckbeards or people who thrive off the attention associated with the fandom, spearheaded at the likes of /mlp/ and similar boards. [/rant] Anyway, I wont get ahead of myself. MLP - or My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic is a TV program associated around the universe of Equestria but more importantly the 'mane' six (HUEHUEHUE). But you don't need me to tell you about it, It's like a sort of TV kids show with the attractiveness of great animation, mixed with fresh storylines and Spongebob-esque humor (which we ALL love. ), so if you're interested, there's no harm in checking it out!

But to people who already watch the show, here's the place on MS to discuss it!

Found a pretty awesome show as filler for MLP. It was inspired by shows such as The Mighty Boosh and The IT Crowd, and surprisingly has a fair bit of language considering it's target demographic. Another great show made by Cartoon Network.

I can't stand that show. It's like a watered-down clone of Beavis and Butthead and does not belong on Cartoon Network.
But let's keep on topic with MLP. The mods hate us enough, and they're just looking for the smallest excuse to lock us.

True that, I find it quite sad that the 'sterotypical brony' pasted across the internet brings down on the more modest of us. All I can do is laugh at them whenever I see them in pictures of 'get-togethers' or whatever they're called, heck I find Furries more appealing than the pictures you find on there.

Saying that, they can't do anything at all if we keep to MLP/MLP fandom related posts. Even if they find it remotely annoying or whatnot when trundling through them.

They are? As far as I can tell, I'm the only Staff member who actually thinks the forum is more annoying to look at because of this thread, so claiming that the Mod team hates this thread to the point of actively looking for a way to lock it is absurd.

This makes me think if those people truly have no lives... I'm all for people liking your own things 'n stuff, but people like that imo take it too far. But I guess it's not at all different to say Furries, Trekkies, [insert other big fandom here].

It just makes me wonder what kind of social lives these people must lead if they're having meet ups with anons online united only by a common interest and then showing up with all their merch as if they're attempting to prove their fanboyism... Their custom made pony plushies are also making me shake my head, but if someone's proud to spend $50+ on a stuffed animal, I guess it's their choice... Unless they all made their plushies themselves, then I respect them

Even some of the more nerdy/awkward looking folks in that pic... I've met so many metalheads (especially those into power or prog metal) who actually look like that
Just get rid of the plushies and change the pony shirts to metal shirts and you have what seems to be a stereotypical highschool/university metal clique...

Hahaha, I think I know which one you're talking about Disturbing as hell that such a thing exists.... I wish it was fake just like those MLP fleshlights.
But no, I have no idea how much it went for and I have the feeling I don't want to know...

Wow, I just found out how much... and it's heck a lot higher than I previously thought.

I also heard new rumours that Season 3 is being pushed back to Winter 2012... I really really hope they're wrong.

I have news -- from a pretty unreliable source, but a source nonetheless -- that S3 is due to air beginning of September (Around 2nd, if it keeps within the same time-frame of S1 > S2)! partay!

Don't know why I haven't asked you's yet (or it may just be my memory ) of what your favourite song is from both S1 and S2? -- I'll post mine in a while, after much contemplation.

That's a fair point since they are absolutely great songs. The "May the Best Pet Win" song is also really good IMO but I think nothing else beats "This Day Aria" in Season 2. (And as a quote - I think - from Pinkie Pie, "You can't rush perfection" regarding the vocal cover. ^^)

Yes, but we are rumored a speaking appearance by Octavia and a reappearence by Trixie. I predict this to be a season beyond epic proportions.

Yeah, I definitely have a feeling that this Season is going to be amazing. Sadly though, I read somewhere that their was an interview with one of the people who worked on the show that it maybe 13 episodes long (with basically everyone talking about it on MLP Wiki). This interestingly brings up if there will be a bigger storyline happening throughout the Season, and the possibility of a film after the 13 episodes.
