Here is the topic where, like in the old forum, American Metalstormers can congregate and talk about metal and what is happening in their state. Hope y'all have fun!

So it's raining on the 4th of July like it does every year here in Washington, but at least it makes me feel better about working tonight

I know California for example has some good restrictions regarding private possesion of exotic animals and there's a detailed list of illegal species. I know Quaker parrots are forbidden but i've been wondering if it also applies to other species of psittacines as well? I mean are African Greys, Cockatoos or Macaws illegal in California or others states which have Class B ruls for Exotic animals?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, but that would be Blanka from the Street Fighter 2 cartoon series.

If Iran problem is ok then US can leave Iraq, it is good if US has a base there to protect people there. You know, since Iraq war there have been a lot lot of bombing of suicide, I always wonder what happens if they leave the Iraqi. The suicidal bomber are not only on US troops but also on Iraqi fellow from the fellow.

North Korea lol, I believe they will be handled well. They seems to be too lonely because they are communist, even to the point extreme communist.

We will never be out of Iraq. We have been there for years doing nothing. All they do is waste and or spend money there on nothing worthwhile. I do know this more than some people might. I did serve for 4 years in Army. Did some tours. I know how worthless it really is to be there. We will pull out a lot of people but we will keep some there. Who knows when it will happen.

The big problem is we thought the process of rebuilding former enemies into friends (see Germany, Japan after WWII) would work. the majority of Iraqi people want democracy, even if starting from point zero... but there are enough people hellbent on wrecking any positive system that i doubt it will work out. with the Hussein gov't crushed, they had a chance at it, but too many people simply cannot play nice and want to kill anyone whose opinion differs.

i think the same, though, with the recent uprisings elsewhere in the region. while people know champion it as some sort of democratic movement, the end result will be chaos, bloodshed, and more suffering.

Already is. From what I know first hand, we have made in changes in the country of Iraq yet. Waste of time.

Sup everybody,
so i'll be in the states for almost a month, and i wanna meet up with you guys ... so here's my program and if anyone's nearby we should definitely hang out;

10/1 - 10/8 Washington, DC
10/8 - 10/12 New Orleans, LO
10/12 - 10/15 Buffalo, NY and Milwaukee, WI
10/15 - 10/19 San Francisco, CA
10/19 - 10/22 Seattle, WA

i might stay another extra week if i feel that i didn't get enough of one of the cities, and if i have the money for it ... most probably SF

it'll be cool hitting up shows in different states ... i'll see what major bands are touring these cities (though their shows would probably be sold out already), and you guys could help me out with underground band playing in clubs, recommendations are welcomed and appreciated.
