Fuck the Leafs...they're a shitty team and their fans are just as shitty...Leafs fans are so fucking obnoxious...

Probably not as bad as flames fans. a few years ago people were ashamed to be associated with the same city that put out that terrible team, but as soon as they start winning everyone turns into a die hard flames fan saying "I was a fan even before they started winning again" and there the biggest group of idiots everywhere, theyll mug someone if they see them wearing a jersey of a team that isnt the flames in calgary. Hell I cant walk around town sporting my leafs jersey at all, its the worst.

They sound like a bunch of hypocrites man...they do sound worse than Toronto fans now that you mention it...

A few years ago I was driving through downtown Toronto with a bunch of my drunken Toronto friends (no, the driver wasn't drunk) and the Maple Leafs flag in the car window dropped out onto the road...he stopped the car in the middle of the road to pick it up and the cops stopped and asked him what the hell he was doing and was ready to arrest him...as soon as my friend started telling the cop that the only reason he was stopped in the middle of the road was because he was picking up the Maple Leafs flag that got away from his window...the cop physically stopped traffic to let my friend pick it up...

but either way, i just mentioned leafs coz it gets people talking...i'm always up for the flyers...though i havent watched hockey in years, and lost interest after the lock out...

Yeah thats the exact same time i stopped paying attention to scores and trades and stuff. Now I'll watch a game every now and then but it seems to have lost alot of magic since the hockey league has shown how far its greed will go.

not just that, but all these new rules and regulations that are supposedly making the game better....really arent doing so. i mean, that stupid shoot out thing...sure, it cuts time by alot, as the players wont have to go through an additional period...but still, its stupid!

we want old hockey back!

Wont happen, players will continue to get bitchier and greedier. Do what Ive done and start watching like college league hockey type stuff, much faster and its not filled with a bunch of over paid bitching millionaires.

So i recently picked up an album by a canadian black metal band called Wolven Ancestry, its very good. I believe there from somewhere in Ontario, anyone ever hear them?

Any other cool discoveries/news within the canadian metal scene? Cmon, this thread has been inactive for far too long.

Pfft. I survived through the '97 Ice storms that hit ontario. about a week ago here in Calgary it was literally -50 with wind chill. After that I think I can handle anything.

Yeah, which is odd considering we're the second biggest country of users here, I think we just have all the "sign in once, make 2 posts, totally forget the website exists" people. I got a few of my friends to sign up, but unfortunately I can't make them sign on regularly.

I never tried getting my metalhead friends to come in here because they don't use their computers as much as I do...

I think its because all my friends are stoners so they don't really like many websites that involve reading or typing, they just like the gaming websites pretty much.

Well...when I was a stoner I had major problems trying to post on this website...I just never thought that anything I was posted was of any use so I would go back later and delete everything lol...if I kept most of my posts, I would probably have something like 8000+ posts...

Back when I was a stoner my posts would be like 2 paragraphs each then id read through them afterwords and realize I repeated myself like 4 times without noticing, I'd just zone out while typing.

Scrap the later question, apparently N.W.N productions are possibly releasing it.

i'm really hating people that work as weather broadcasters. why? they constantly lie about everything. for example, they said that toronto will be hit by a snow storm 4 days ago. and that we were expecting 15 cms of snow. that snow storm only gave us hardly a cm of snow. and we did get hit by a snow storm last night...which they said 'was just some issolated flurries that wont build up.''

i think i'll make a better broadcaster by saying 'yeah, be prapred for some snow and rain during the summer.' that way, wed be prepared for EVERYTHING!

@Soliloquy: Yeah...I'm sick thanks to that snowstorm...I went out in it last night to get beer...and now I'm paying the price...I was trudging through snowdrifts...so now I'm sick and drunk...why...why didn't my parents stay in Florida and not move up to Canada...yeah...I used to religiously watch The Weather Network but I cannot trust them anymore...
