Not your typical traditional meloblack approach here, it's very cinematic and symphonic oriented similar to Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, and Cradle Of Filth but I really like it. It's exceptionally made, the soundscapes are captivating, and the melodies are stunning, the solos are what I like most of all though, in general, they're brilliant. Think I prefer the debut overall but this is still a great sophomore album.

These guys are phenomenal musicians so I expect this to be pretty epic. The last one was super well written.

Two listens in and I'm not feeling it. I don't like the production, the mix, or the vocals.

I definitely prefer the last album and I'm in two minds about cancelling my vinyl preorder.

The cover art alone is worth owning this on vinyl, if you ask me. I also think that if you spend a little more time with it, you will definitely like it more. I personally started appreciating it after the fourth listen, but I am generally slow anyway with these things. I prefer it now over the debut. Not trying to change your mind or anything, of course.

3 listens in and I played Tales of Othertime immediately after. I can't see how anyone can prefer this over that personally, but each to their own.

The cover art is ok, but it doesnt make me desperate to own It 😆

This album has a problem, in my opinion. I don't know what to think. It's good, I won't deny that, but at the same time, I feel like it's a step backward. Maybe they set the bar too high with their debut. Perhaps I'll like it more with each listen, but honestly, I don't know what happened.
