Kingsley Amis recommended listening to the most melancholy music available when nursing a "metaphysical" hangover. If there is any truth to that, then this is now officially my hangover album of choice. Although it does almost seem too melancholic.

Good, but not that very great. Track 4 is probably the best. The atmospheric tremolos at the beginning rule.

Wow, the second half of Gentian Truth has to be one of the most entrancing songs I've heard in a while.

An absolute masterclass in tension building and crafting massive atmospheric landscapes with an underlying sense of melancholic nihilism.
