So there you got a piece of "modern" metal, this band moves around heavy, thrash, alternative, and a little bit of progressive. This "modern" element is given by the vocals, especially this screamo-like vocals that they add here and there, as well as the accelerated beat that is a constant along, almost, the entire length of the album.

It's always a good thing to see a band singing in their own language, for artistic reasons, for a matter of diversity, to confront the market, and so on, but in this case it really sounds very good; they sing in Finnish and it definitely gives the music an extra flavour. On the other hand, and as we are talking about language, I think they made this album with a humorous approach, though I don't understand a single word of what they're saying, it gives that impression.

The songs tend to be similar to each other, this is due to the constant accelerated beat, and this makes choosing a favorite or even the highlight songs of the album a bit difficult. But it's to say that this is more of a completed album, a whole piece, divided, yet the albums have nice details all over that make it enjoyable and not monotonous.

The musicianship is quite notable, there is no doubt about the level of the execution of the musicians, they move around in between the different styles with perfect balance. You can find a couple or three impressive solos that fit perfectly on the songs without making them an exhibition of skills.

So sit and listen, it's quite a catchy and eclectic album and very enjoyable, as far as you are fine with the "modern" approach.

Congratulations! Great Review! You mentioned the perfect balance. IMHO especially "Eloonjäänyt" is a song which is an awsome combination of Metal and Classical Music. Another word concerning the language: Suomi is such a great but difficult language. Sometimes sounds cute, but then again underlining the aggressive mood.

(In case of a Rammstein review count yourself lucky knowing not a single word german! )
