Should be limited more, but I forget 6k copies sells more than 1k so why limit your chance to profit on a total bs release.

If the female vocal is replaced with some robotic Pauls vocals, it would have been great cynic-ambient album. Actually female vocals are the only thing that irritates me.

Its their old demo after Cynic disbanded in '94. Its not even meant to be same band and it doesn't sound like them too much either. Though, through listening to it I hear hints of Cynic's style. Just saying, they didn't just record this demo recently to make the fans happy. Its been around for a while, and for a long time there was pretty much nowhere to buy a physical copy. I actually bought it last summer when they said they had some extra copies or something on their facebook page. Luckily I bought the legit copy that says Portal on it, lol.

This album has some really good tracks on it, despite it not being metal at all.

Not a big fan of the band but this is pretty cool. Reminds me a bit of a mellow-er Echosilence

Well it's clearly aimed towards hardcore fans, and isn't an essential release.

Curious release to listen to. Even though it has Paul and Sean in the line-up, it still sounds different from Cynic. To be honest, I'm not even sure how this kind of music is called, but it's quite pleasant.

I remember hearing about this some years ago. It's up on their Bandcamp and this feels like Focus, but Portal put their own stamp on this release.
