Stranger In Us All is actually much more "progressive" than the joe lynn turner albums with rainbow. Stranger ... has more the image of early Rainbow, Blackmore still makes a great performance, Doogie White makes a good performance. IMO, Bent Out Of Shape is the worst rainbow album but the difference between Bent Out and Stranger isn't big, maybe Bent Out 6.7 and Stranger maybe 7.3. Stranger is much more the personality of Rainbow, so i think. greets, AndMetalForAll

Most melodic, pospy, sound Rainbow, most commercial, less rock, but in some way I like it, you can play dio era every week, but after Dio once per year. In that thermes its good, but playing every day... no way

Of the Joe Lynn Turner Rainbow albums this is maybe my favourite even if all three of them is very close in terms of quality.
