The problem of MA's rating system is averagely based on very few reviewers' opinions. If one reviewer's rating is extremely high or low then the score will be greatly affected...not really accurate.

This is far from boring, it gets better and better with repeated listens. Also, I am thankful I speak french because the lyrics really enhance the music here, might be the best lyrics I have ever read, and the music fits extremely well with it, it's amazing.

I translated "Les forges" for my wife a while back, I don't think it's perfect and it loses a bit of its beauty but it's pretty cool nonetheless.

Kinda agreed there. I tend to treat the two discs as separate listens tbh which kinda works out to two more reasonable albums. I rarely have the time to sit down and listen to a full hour and a half of music in one go

It doesn't have enough going on to justify the length. I started to lose interest 40-50 minutes in. Not as bad as my previous comments, though.

I just have a really hard time maintaining focus for that long. It becomes a chore even with the best music.

I came here to complain about how criminally underrated this album is, but I'm glad to see that it at least got some recognition here. Also hyped for the new Miserere Luminis album.

Good work. But as a depressive black metal or even a black metal album, it is a bit too refined. So it touched me far less than their previous work, that kind of ugly, twisted and desperate temperament is unique!
