Impaled Nazarene - Tol Cormpt Norz Norz Norz

This is insane. Filthy guitars, pumping drums and vocals straight out of an asylum.
The fact they add random noises of like animal screams, demons raping *something* and other unidentified depravaties just makes it even more deranged.
Also the weird song structures and the mix of track lenghts adds even more to the over feeling.... lyrics/thematic are hilarious too

Not sure what to think about this. This is just insane (but not necessarily in a positive way). I don't get the album structure. Most of the longer songs are quite enjoyable though. So it's a 7 for me.

Really good stuff. Not their best, but up there. Interludes kinda fuck up the track order though. It's good to hear goat being raped the first 4-5 times but gets tiring quickly.

This album is all over the place, but it's also a lot of fun to listen to. The orgiastical screams in "Impure Orgies" are pretty cringey but on the actual songs themselves (I'm referring to anything other than these 30-second interludes) the vocals are delivered will real vigour and menace. I wasn't expecting much from Impaled Nazarene's debut but turns out I was pleasantly surprised.

The early Impaled Nazarene albums are so much fun to listen to, they are filthy, evil and over the top. Back in the day they were so notorious even Finnish parliament ended up having a serious discussion about some of their lyrics, which only ended up making them more famous. It's quite hilarious to think that somebody would actually get offended by this silly stuff. Take a song such as Goat Perversion for example, that's some hilariously moronic crap right there. Even the title makes me laugh out loud.
