After reading a comment saying that Alex sounds like Donald Duck flipping out, I can no longer take the vocals seriously, because that's all i can picture.

One of the most crushing deathcore albums ever. The entire album is effectively one giant breakdown but they somehow make the nonstop breakdowns sound good. Recreant is brutal as fuck. But at the same time, it's literally just exaggerated deathcore. Take all the stuff you either love or hate about deathcore, and make it more extreme, and you have this album.
