Cult Of Luna - Cult Of Luna

Excellent album, and for a debut it proves to be very significant in COL's discography. 'Sleep' is monumental and 'The revelation embodied' and 'Hollow' progress into mesmerizing sounds.

A lot heavier and more sinister than anything they did afterwards. Probably slightly prefer it to Celestial, which was a similar thing for Isis, but I'm glad they moved onto the sounds of Salvation, Somewhere Along The Highway, and afterwards. Sleep is the clear highlight, personally.

The band's certainly improved over time, but Beyond Fate is pretty epic
