Decent, but nothing truly ground-breaking and with other such high quality melodeath releases this year I'm not sure this is that much of a contender.

Not groundbreaking, but so what?

IMHO it's an excelent album, they keep up with their melodic death metal with great quality and sci-fi thematic, and an interesting album art to go with it - trully underated band!
