i gave it a 9 i give their best (identisick and icon) a 10

Some new ideas, new vocal styles, interesting covers and a great album artwork. I think overall all good. The title song, experience your flesh and collection of dead portraits are really brutal songs

Aside from the album, Aborted and Machine Head covers are really kickass

Experience your flesh is a mindblowing track, video was also "blowing" XD but rest of the crap was such a crap :/

I heard of them when they released Identisick and I've cherished the day I listened to that album for the first time. Benighted are one of reasons why I listen to DM. But I don't mind change. Now I just have to listen to Asylum Cave and I'll be up to date.

I wish I felt that way but they pretty much lost me after Icon. The change of focus on Asylum Cave just didn't do it for me.

I don't know about Asylum Cave yet. But I actually prefer this to Icon. I really can't tell you why anymore, I didn't listen to that one in a very long time.
I gave Identisick a spin after Carnivore Sublime, and I find it a bit neater, faster, and more dense - in a good way. Sometimes it just feels like they all have rabies. It's my favourite, Carnivore doesn't top it, but I still think it's a very good album if you just relax your tight anus a little and let yourself enjoy it .

You know maybe I like this one just because I was excited at the idea of listening to Benighted again. We'll see how that develops when I re-ingurgitated all their discography. I'm sure that's not a word. I didn't want to say swallow.

Sounds like a goregrind band to me. I always thought there should be a side project of Decapitated called "Recapitated."

True! Got me some time to get to like the whole album though. Guess cause Im new to all that Deathgrind stuff

My only issue with "Carnivore Sublime" is they knocked out by their older material.

Each time they become a little more boring... Les Morsures De Cerbère is a great song though..
