After a bright start with The Ultra-Violence, Death Angel show how hard it can be to follow up a success, especially when going through growing pains. While the band wobble, they don't lose their footing completely and the resulting album is a good listen, if easily the weakest of their initial run before breaking up.

Not quite as overwhelming as "The Ultra-Violence" in my opinion, but this album still delivers the goods in the best way possible. "Road Mutants" is thrash-tastic.

An another nearly 60 min thrash album IMO this one is almost full of filler. I like the instrumental work and vocals, but there's only very few interesting riffs. The songs are IMO quite bad and not memorable, unlike the songs on "The Ultra-Violence" and "Act III".

Indeed, I've got the album in front of me right now and it's 50 minutes and some seconds.

Then, I guess you're missing "Devil's Metal" which is probably my favorite track of this album.

I think this album is much better than it's reputation, but it is not nearly as good as Death Angel's previous release.

I have come back to this one again and again over the years since it was released. It is the odd record in their catalog, and I love it for that.

This band should be sent to Gitmo for that horrendous Kiss cover.

It isn't as good as The Ultra Violence but I guess I'm in the minority of people who prefers Frolic Through The Park over Act III.

I think this has parallels with Exciter's Violence & Force. Strong songs, slightly marred by odd production choices. I still really like both albums though.
