Triptykon - Two New Songs Streaming Online

Triptykon has just revealed not one but two new songs from their new album Melana Chasmata. Now you have two new songs to digest in one day. The songs are "Breathing" and "Boleskine House" and you can stream both right here. Why complain? Enjoy the new tunes. Both songs are also available on Soundcloud here.

As for the album itself, it hits stores on April 14th (Europe) and April 15th (North America), 2014, through Century Media Records/Prowling Death Records Ltd. More details were previously reported over here.











In somewhat related news, Triptykon's mastermind Tom Gabriel "Warrior" Fischer also confirmed to The Quietus that he rejected a good sum of money for a Celtic Frost reunion at Wacken.

He says: "Two-and-a-half weeks ago I was actually offered ?100,000 (£83,510) for a one hour show at Wacken as Celtic Frost - Martin (Eric Ain, original bassist) and me being the main two; they said it wouldn't matter who was playing drums or second guitar, as long as Martin and me would put Celtic Frost on stage at Wacken."

"And my response to them? The same as the one I gave you: It's a joke. So the answer's no."

Is that Vanja backing Tom up on vocals in the beginning of Boleskine House? Badass harmony!
Anyway, both great cuts, seems just like a natural continuation of Eparistera Daimones, so I don't think I'll be too disappointed. And in regards to the Wacken thing... good for him. Fuck what the masses want, as an artist it should be all about your own vision, not theirs. If his Celtic Frost days are over, and he now sees Triptykon as the main medium of his musical expression, I say power to him.

Master Tom G. Warrior has return. Bow down before him.

Plus he is even more badass for turning down that Wacken offer (together with boycotting the century media box set a few days ago), props for that. Fuckin' hate it when lame festivals try to bring the exclusive stuff only with money, like that Dakthrone offer a few years ago... At least some guys still have some integrity.

EDIT: Just listened to them now, really great songs, especially "Boleskine House", absolutely wonderful! I applaud him by the way for not joining Celtic Frost just because the masses say so and he's being offered a ton of money, let's not spoil the high note they went out on with "Monotheist".
