Great song. Funny way of teasing people right after the release of an album. But seriously, I know what it means, but the only thing I picture when I read the title is this:

Now I won't listen to it in the same way..... Thanks. Really.

This track seems more in the veins of the first album rather than taking the legacy of the 2nd. I like that.

I think I once described Slugdge as a more fun / less serious, and more melodic version of Dragged Into Sunlight. A nice medium of death, sludge, black and even some thrash metal parts too with a nice emphasis on riffs that stay in the mind.

Yeah Dragged Into Sunlight, but without the crazy, the psychedelic, the dark, and more energetic. Sludge is the Jekyll of Dragged Into Sunlight.

Just finished listening. Not really my thing but far from bad. I can see why DIS was brought up as a comparison, and agree that Slugdge are the Jekyll in that regard.

I really liked the vocal work but would have preferred a more psychedelic approach.
