When Abigor got back together in 2006, many people were really happy, the happiness quickly turning to dismay when they released Fractal Possession in 2007. This album was a vast departure from the atmospheric black metal sound that they were known for, which they have abandoned for a more clinical and avant-garde form of black metal. 2010 brought about even more despair as Abigor seemed set on exploring this style of music. So let it be said that 2014 is finally a return to form for Abigor! Sort of.

I was excited for a second because I always mix up Aborym and Abigor. Then I remembered Aborym has been disappointing these last years, so I really don't know why I'm commenting anymore.

Yeah, I wish Aborym released another With No Human Intervention, but they're just getting worse =(

About Abigor never been much a fan. I just listened to the fractal Possession because I got curious once I heard a band of the second wave suddenly was going industrial/avant-garde black metal. Nothing avant-garde about that one though

Amen to another With No Human Intervention.

Yeah Abigor is the kinda band I kept checking from time to time, but never could finish a whole record I think. They just sound so bland to me. I'll probably do the same, listen to whatever they will release as a teaser - if they do - or youtube a couple songs, and leave it at that.

Definitely album of the year for me until now, and with very slim chances of being topped. The guitars and arrangements are stellar! Also, Silenius on vocals make it that much better. It is everything i love in modern black metal and it's a pity to see that there are so very few people who actually appreciate it.

I have 5 full lengths and 2 EPs of these guys in my computer and I kind of dig their stuff but always remember to actually listen to it instead of just having it in the background.

Pretty solid work, much better than I expected at least. Definitely their best since the reunion and one of the genre's best of the year
