The band explains the line-up change: "The reasons for this are simple: as Hamferð-duties become more and more extensive, it has been increasingly difficult for Jenus to find the time to work with the band, as he has many other great things to focus on in his daily life. The band understands his predicament completely, and he remains a close friend, just as he was in the days before he joined the band.
"The sweet part of this news bulletin is that we have found a splendid bassist and wonderful guy to step in Jenus' place, namely Ísak Petersen! In typical Hamferð-tradition, Ísak is a longtime friend who has stepped in for emergency bass duties earlier, most notably on our tour with Amorphis, where some of you might have seen him sporting his beautiful long blond locks. If nothing else, we have at least gained a lot of hair in the band. We are extremely pleased to have him on board! Welcome Ísak!"
