Ending the Officium Tenebrarum triology brilliantly. My first contact with the band and I still hold the album close to my heart. The later works will turn out to be less bombastic and focus more on layering and ambient touches that make the nightmare more subtle. This one however takes everything from the previous two and throws it on the face of the listener with gigantic fury. The orchestral synth sounds extremely real compared to the previous two (and the second one already did a decent job at this).

The screams are as extreme as ever with a touch of drama at times. Very operatic in their own twisted way. A true performance that matches nicely with the choirs and female vocals. Du Tréfonds Des Ténèbres still gives me the chills, what an opener.

I unname thee!
