Somehow the album fails to be enjoyable, the production sucks and the vocals aren't very good. Hence this album is an disappointment after a pretty good debut. IMO the only killer track here is "The Fugitive", and the rest of em make only a little difference.

Brilliant album i've been spinning in my car a lot. The production could have had a better balance between the music and the vocals but that's just nit picking. This is pretty much as close as you get early Iron Maiden while not sounding as a imitator (The Fugitive however reminds me a lot of The Prisoner...). Every song rocks and the bass gets a lot of space to give the songs that Steve Harris feeling. The following album is their masterpiece but this is not far from it. Sadly this kind of heavy metal has been lost for a long time...
