Sólstafir - New Video, To Play 'Ótta' On European Tour

Iceland's own Sólstafir have recently released a new video which can now be seen below. It was created for the track "Miðaftann" from their latest album Ótta. The video was directed by Vesa Ranta and Harri Haataja, starring Guðmundur Ingi Thorvaldsson, whose last music video work was Iron Maiden's "The Final Frontier". In other news, the atmospheric metal band will play the album Ótta in its entirety - complete with strings and piano - followed by a selection of fan favourites from Sólstafir's history on their upcoming European tour next May.

What's with the bands playing entire albums on their gigs now?
I think it's better when there's the element of surprise. They could play any song of any album at any time

Thanks for this.
Nice to see them on tour again, but imo it would be better if they played some old stuff instead. This band seems lost to metal.

I think it's great, especially if there are songs on the respective album that haven't been played live before
