The proggers Threshold have released new albums on a constant basis in the last few years and they are ready to give us more music. The British group has signed a new contract with Nuclear Blast and extended their partnership after 10 successful years with the label. Currently, the band is working on their 11th opus, a new concept album that is scheduled to be released in 2017.

Guitarist Karl Groom states: "We're very happy to continue with Nuclear Blast and couldn't imagine a better fit for Threshold."

Keyboard player Richard West adds: "Nuclear Blast have given us everything we could want from a label and we're really looking forward to releasing our new album with them."

"2017 will be the year of Prog!", adds Nuclear Blast CEO Markus Staiger. "We are very happy to continue our work with Threshold and bring a massive release to you next year!"

The last album was REALLY boring. March of Progress was a mix sort. Had some good aggression, then fell back on dreary meandering. Hope the next one is good.
