Mare Cognitum's new opus is called Luminiferous Aether. The American atmospheric black metal outfit returns with the follow-up to Phobos Monolith to be released one week from now via I, Voidhanger Records. New. Unattractive composition, yucky colour palette. Just ugly all around. The overt smudge that is the logo doesn't help either. It sounds good though which matters most

Yep, definitely not the best cover but the music is pretty great.
