Far more substantial and real then the current hipster mediocrity crap in the bin which they cut out all the motivation shown on this one. The Death - Pierce Me copypasting is obviously clear but I kept finding more subtle innovation of there being Agalloch-like vibes within the piano and harmonising parts. Depressive is a subgenre I haven't heard much tbh so I don't know if its a norm part of there sound despite it sounding close to atmospheric black. I really enjoyed the range of instruments in setting with the moods on this and even thought during the chants I was listening to Roots at one crazy moment.
Annnnnd the Ophelia painting is always nice to see unlike that pretentious hipster label esque shite with those fried egg awful looking tits.
