When you'll listen to this Demo, you'll quickly understand that Slumpark Correctional plays a mix of Thrash and Death Metal. The production is unfortunately not so good (even if it remains ok for a Demo) and it's not really easy to have a real good opinion on the music but all that seems to be more than ok and at least, it's diversified.
The first song "Dreaming Underneath Destruction", for example reminds me a Sepultura of the "Roots" period, it's a good song of Thrash a bit classic but not so bad. "Summer's End" at the opposite is clearly oriented Death Metal with a simple but efficient structure. It's not so new and a bit basic on a side, but this is a young band and I really think that it will be better with some more experience.
Also, we have three vocalist, two guys and a girl, but it's hard to find a real difference between our two guys, and the female vocalist is only there to do some choruses. So at the end do we really need three vocalists? I don't think so especially when you play Thrash Metal but the voice of Maya, their female singer, is not so bad and maybe that the band could try to do something with her in addition of a only one male vocalist.
I wish all the best to this band from Syria. They deserve all our support especially when you know how is the situation with the Metal scene in their country. It's maybe not perfect yet, but it will come if they have a bit of luck on the road in the world of Metal.
