Behemoth - The Shit Ov God

The album is solid, short and enjoyable from start to finish. A huge step up from the previous two. And I'm sure it would be rated higher and viewed more favourably if the title and lyrical content weren't so embarrassing.

I agree that the lyrical verbiage and song titles are egregious and vapid, despite technical finesse.

Good album, better than the last one IMO.

Shit Ov a name but music is not......forget lyrics....album. Is good....non-shiity Ov a music

This band became such a cringe and joke. I used to love this band with "Zos Kia Cultus" and "Demigod" era, but I can't stand this band now. So cringy and clowny they became... Nergal has transitioned from a musician into a social media influencer. His brand of "Satanism" feels more like a fashion statement designed to sell gym wear and coffee than a deep-seated philosophical or occult conviction. And seems like he is running out of his ideas for titles. Titles like the new one (The Shit Ov God) feel like they were written by a teenager trying to be edgy for the sake of a headline, rather than a mature artist with something to say. This band feels like a fake Coca Cola.

Satanism as a fashion statement is a neat idea.

The Doo Doo Ov God

Easily the best since The Satanist. The edgy teenage title ruined the public's perspective of this album. It's a shame, really, because the music is sick.
