I've seen that cover before, you just have to squint really hard when you have a floater in your eye.

British Goth gazers Zetra can't be accused of resting on their laurels. Not even a year has passed, and they are already following up Zetra. What's the rush? I don't know, but whatever is the cause, it benefits fans of the band.

Zetra's brand of goth-laden shoegaze is a hypnotic mix, one that blends shiny synths with morose and gothic structures to create tracks that pushes several different buttons in a combination you may not have necessarily known you enjoyed before now. Believe ploughs this furrow yet again, proving to be one that still reaps sonic rewards as it produces tracks like "The Spider" that will have you humming along.

While "Charlotte" does see them branch-off slightly, offering fans a variation on their style with a greater Deftones vibe added into the mix and to enjoyable results, Believe is more of the same from their debut last year. It's not a bad thing, mind you, but if you're looking for sonic progression, the band seem comfortable in the spot they've made for themselves.

Aside from the cover art looking like the wet residue left on a pub table after a night of several pints, Believe is an enjoyable bonus dose of material from Zetra, one that wets the appetite for a follow-up to their debut album.
