Ah, weary traveller, come, rest by the fire. You must be tired from seeking new music to fill that unending appetite for something to listen to. Well, sonic wanderer, somewhere you appear to have taken a path down nostalgia lane, as you have arrived at Equilibrium's latest record Equinox. Let me regale you with the warning of why only the bravest warriors should venture further, for the path ahead is one that challenges the least prepared and offers little reward for such valiant efforts.
Yonder beyond the whimsical chimes of "Earth Tongue" and find yourself confronting a beast much different to the one adventurers of old may have encountered. Yes, the name of the beast may remain the same, but it has deformed over the years, from an almost immortal folk metal juggernaut, to a headless monstrosity that has lost its way. With only Berthiaume and Refaeli remaining from the conquests of old, Equilibrium will stun those who stare too deep at its features, for it is nearly unrecognisable in its form. Long gone is the almost hypnotic charm of the beast's roar, and in its place, it finds itself a new voice in Getto; pilgrim, let me tell you, the beast should have spent more XP on charisma, for its form is weak.
While I put more logs on the fire, read the tomes of "Legends", for it will enchant you with glories of pasts gone. If you must venture forth, I must advise you stock up on provisions, for the journey ahead is long and arduous, with only a few occasions whereupon you will be revitalised. "Anderswelt" is but a moment of fortune, mana may be collected from here. Let not it be said there isn't beauty in this beast, for "Borrowed Waters" shall soothe the most restless of souls, with the culmination of enchanted vocals and a beast that seems to remember what brought it such strength long ago. Indeed, the monster's siren calls are clear and reverbate clearly across these lands; its vocalisations are clear and pristine.
Beware, however, for the beast stalks these lands and may try to attack with its best dad dancing moves as its faux rave sounds are heard on "Awakening" and "Archivist": deadly to many already low on HP. Wanderer, you must recite in verse what shall conquer this curse... or simply run. Prepare thyself a potion for the ailment of confusion, for both you and the beast will require it. As you reach the point of "Nexus", the monster contorts into forms that are mesmerising yet mind-boggling all at once; you may find yourself treading over grounds finding yourself questioning if it is good or not.
Now, be you a warrior or a mouse? Will you venture out from the glow of this fire and further down this path upon which few will dare to tread, or will you make haste and retreat to Earth laden more with bountiful and blessed with plenty. Oh, also, I expect a tip, so please, toss a coin to your witcher as I bid thee farewell.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I'm not listening. Comments
