If you're living in Norway and are around 25 and into Hard Rock/Metal, then I'm pretty sure that you've sometime come across this band.
Return released their first album in 1989 and they were really big in Norway around that time and sold around 25000 copies of their debut.
But after their album "V" in 1992, it was very quiet around Return for over eight years, until the compilation "The Best of Return", a cd that sold incredible 70000 copies, and marked the return of Return.
And now, exactly 13 years after "V", a new Return album is finally out, and I'm pretty sure Norway is celebrating their darling favourites return.

I read somewhere that Return was Norway's equivalence to Sweden's Europe, except that when Return returned they at least stayed true to their music.
If that's true or not I can't really say, because I'm not acquaintance with Return's music (except this album), but as this album sounds, I'm sure that there are at least some truth in that.

The album is simply named "Return" and it starts with the song "Every Little Step" that might be one of the best rock songs I heard this year, the incredible catchy chorus really gets me in a mood for more, and a better opener I couldn't ask for.
Following "Save the Heart" isn't really as good as the opener, but it's still one of the best on the album, the choruses shows to be Return's strongest part again, together with Knut Erik Østgård very sensitive voice. These two tracks will have to carry the whole "comeback album" on their shoulders.

After these two tracks the album is slowly sinking further and further down and there aren't any songs that could really compete with those two.
But that's fine by me, because if you have one song like "Every Little Step" on the album, you still have an album that's more than worth to buy and Return's return album is one of those albums.
So if you're into Melodic Rock/Hard Rock or maybe heard Return before (and liked them), well then I strongly recommend you to check out "Return", this album isn't groundbreaking nor a masterpiece, but I know one thing, it's easily a better "comeback album" than Europe's "Start from the Dark".

Favourite Songs: "Every Little Step", "Save the Heart" and the song "All My Way" gets my third vote.
