"Bloodline" is the sixth album of the German combo Perzonal War. Unfortunately this band is not so famous and seriously I just don't understand why because their releases are really good in general and at the opposite of a ton of other bands from Germany, they play Power Metal right but Power with big balls. "Bloodline" is an excellent album of aggressive Power Thrash Metal and I highly recommend it to all the people who like such kind of music.

The music of Perzonal War can be compared to the lasts Rage or even Annihilator. This not Thrash Metal and more Power but the riffs are heavy and aggressive. Also this is really melodic definitely, and on "Bloodline" the choruses are really catchy, even maybe FM and on a side really commercial especially in reason of the alternation between clean and thrashy vocals but I don't think that the fans of the band will care about it. Yes, this album is full of easy choruses but the songs are good nonetheless and definitely better and heavier than 90% of the European Power Metal scene. This album can probably be enjoyed by a lot of Metalheads.

"Bloodline" is German release which means one more time that its production is simply perfect. Plus, as you can see in the track-list of the album, a ton of great guests are featured on the album. We can hear them a lot on the songs and that's really good to listen to Schmier, Victor Smolski or Gus Chambers on the songs. They give something more to the music of Perzonal War and this invitation was a good idea really. I think that Bloodline is a really good album, which shouldn't be considerate as Thrash Metal album but more like a really heavy Power Metal one but all in all this is good and catchy even if that's right some choruses are really commercial and FM.

"Bloodline" is not a surprising album when you know Perzonal War's discography but this release is among their bests and it's always good to listen to such music anyway. Sure this is not real Thrash or Power Metal but it works and all the songs of this new release are catchy. If you want to listen to good melodic Metal I invite you to check as soon as possible this album, for sure you'll not be disappointed.
