I've always been a big fan of this particular Finnish-brewed brand of metal (or rock, whichever you prefer), with its typically melancholic atmosphere and addictive melodies. Here are some of the best releases of the genre, in no particular order, max. 2 from each band. Note how one of the bands, Icon & The Black Roses, is actually from Portugal, not Finland.

Hi. This is very good choice and I couldn't agree more.
If I were to make this list, I'd choose Neon by Negative instead of Anorectic,
and Be My God or Vol.4 by Lullacry istead of Sweet Desire. but small differences .
