Greetings my fellow metalheads, and happy new year to you all!

A new year, a new list. 2023 was one hell of a year concerning metal and rock records, and with upcoming releases scheduled so far 2024 is going to become even more exciting!
I hope you will join me In my journey to expand my musical horizon.
This is my favorite metal releases of 2024.

This year I Will be adding country of origin into the album description. I Will also be adding EP’s this year.
Furthermore I will only be adding releases with a “7” rating and above.
I won’t consider a rating below “7” to be among my favorite releases as I won’t be bother listening to it.

UPDATE:
I have decided that this is gonna be a top 50 like last year. .

Hello my fellow metalheads! Got myself a brand new account, thanks to the new login conditions. Who cares, it was an old account anyway. I've been away for a long time, and I got myself a New Years resolution, being revisiting an old hobby of mine. Listening to new metal albums all the time, and ranking them in personal lists here on metal storm! So here I am, introducing my top 50 metal albums of 2023!

UPDATE:

After playing around with making separate lists containing albums from three month periods during 2023, I finally decided to make a single list. Since there are so many great albums coming out this year, the list now contains 50 albums instead of 20
