@Corrupt: My friend interviewed him not long before his death and it was sad and painful to hear. Clearly the death of his brother broke him. And alcoholism. He was drunk even long before the show.

On top of Nevermore being one of my all time favorites. Really an exceptional band. I miss them a lot.

Yeah I know, Chidder. Not having a band and a touring schedule probably still didn't help in his situation. I have a special place in my heart for the guy. Met him several times and he was just an absolute sweetheart every time.

Not trying to say his death is Loomis' fault. It's more of a thought experiment. But how amazing would it be if he were around for this reunion?

That step doesn't exactly scream artistic integrity to me. I often wonder where Nevermore would be today if they hadn't thrown the towel just because one album turned out to be a little mediocre. Like, would Warrel still be alive?
