AEGIRSON began in the underground with their two mini-CDs Inside and Dark Chapters before to release Requiem Tenebrae, a concept-album. The band's music stands between very delicate Heavy Metal and a Dark / Goth Metal, where dark vocals are mixed with lyrical female voices.
The AEGIRSON's background is rooted in the 80's, but the band made their music evoluate by incorporating modern sounds, without becoming fashioned. They prefer a very advanced music concept that made them use to work hardly on the lyrics.
Between tracks like Awaiting Deliverance, Escape or Lost in Fairyland, with Thierry Lebourg, DYSLESIA's voice, all the AEGIRSON universe is then shown. Between fine Dark / Atmo sounds, Black / Dark atmospheres and pure heavy basis, AEGIRSON presented a genuine and passioned approach.
