A few years back, I would've creamed my pants over the idea of seeing "The Big Four" live in one day and would've done ANYTHING to be there.

Now, I MIGHT go IF one-day tickets are released.

Can't say I have ever been too interested in "the big four". I've seen all four individually and wouldn't pay to see any of them again.

Why? You don't wanna see Biffy Clyro?!

You guys are really lucky to see the big four! You just don't know what those guys do whem they are all together!Don't be harsh and let me show you.I saw them last summer in Bulgarian version of Sonisphere
and damn, they rocked hard!!!I'm sure they won't let you down if they don't shut the electricity

Sisters of Mercy are the big mistery that holds the charm in.I just hope they will come along here too.

The last announcement was very weak for anyone looking for a predominately metal experience.

I wouldn't mind going for a few of these bands, but I am just totally sick of massive festivals - wading through swarms of people.

A very weird list of bands if you ask me.. some are great live (Anthrax, Motorhead, In Flames, Volbeat) while others are supreme MEH (i think we all know which ones we're talking about )

I have to chose between buying a Jackson Kv1 or coming here, I don't have enough cash for both. Which do I chose?? Or I could buy a cheaper guitar...

This line-up is fucking amazing and beats our other 'big' festival, Download, by miles. Nice good mix of stuff and another chance to see two bands I stupidly missed last year; Kylesa and Sylosis. Plus Bill Bayley for comical lol's, Limp Bizkit for school-time nostalgia trips, and Richard Cheese would be great to get stoned too for a chill out. Infact there are so many bands I either want to see for definite or at least would like to check out that im finding it hard to see where I'm going to have time to eat and rest haha.

and I'm highly expecting Slipknot to pull off a fantastic, emotional performance. Looking at it The Big 4 are no longer my reason for going (seen them all live before anyway) but they will compliment the weekend well, especially with Diamond Head present and the big rendition of Am I Evil?. Hell yeah!

Fuck Download

I'd say Download looks better...

Apart from a few bands I really like (such as Down, GWAR, The Cult) and bands I'd like to see but don't mind missing (SoaD, Rob Zombie, Danzig) there's not much that interests me, mainly because most I don't care for at all or I've already caught them last year at Sonisphere or recently at other places and so would prefer seeing other bands I've either never seen or haven't caught in quite some time. This is why Sonisphere is my preference but I can see why people would want to go to Download instead.

I'll enjoy belligerently missing the Big Four, for a second time skipping Metallica in favour of Killing Joke.

Not the greatest line-up (for nearly £200 it's not) but going with a bunch of people and getting mashed will be fun and It's infinitely better than Download (aside from System of a Down... bastards): Killing Joke, Orange Goblin, Opeth, Gojira, Kylesa, Bad Religion, Protest The Hero, Bill Bailey, Watain, Sylosis, Cerebral Ballzy, Rolo Tomassi, The Mars Volta, possibly Tesseract, Black Breath, Periphery and Sonic Boom Six (even though I saw them a month ago), maybe Paradise Lost and Mastodon (to see if they can manage to be even more boring this time round) and also maybe Arch Enemy and In Flames for old time's sake and Slipknot for the theatrics.

Tickets here already. First concert / festival / whatever.

I'll be at the Apollo Stage all the duration of the first day; gonna catch The Big 4 and Diamond Head. They're great, also the only two other bands that interest me are Killing Joke and Protest The Hero, which will be fine to miss in favor of Big 4 / D. Head.

Second day, mm, I'll be at Bohemia most of the day; maybe catch TesseracT at Bedroom Jam first, though. Mostly interested by Periphery, Gojira, Paradise Lost. Third day, I think I will walk a lot between stages. All three of them have got decent shit on. Arch Enemy and Motorhead (Mastodon meh) are great shows, Opeth / In Flames are great and Bill Bailey seems fun and at Bohemia - Alestorm mostly - however, if this should contradict any of the dates of the other stages mentioned, I'll ditch it. Third day is still my most not planned.
