Darkest Era - New Label, New Album In June

Cruz Del Sur Music has announced a deal with former Metal Blade artists, folk metallers Darkest Era for the release of their new album Severance. Finally, the successor to The Last Caress Of Light (2011) is set to see the light of day. In fact, you can expect the new album on June 13th in Europe and June 3rd in the US in CD, vinyl and digital formats.

Kaledon - New Album Announced

In a recent Italian interview, power metallers Kaledon just announced that they are working on their 8th studio album, the successor to Altor: The King's Blacksmith. Like its predecessor, this album will tell the story of one of the characters of the Legend Of The Forgotten Reign saga. The protagonist, this time, will be Antillius, the king, and the band has already composed twelve demo songs.

Pilgrim - Announce New Album, New Song Online

Since the early 2012 unveiling of their debut, Misery Wizard, fans have awaited the second chapter from Rhode Island doom bringers Pilgrim. Recently, it has been revealed that it will be called II: Void Worship and the new album was recorded at Moonlight Mile Recording by audio architect Mike Moebius. Devin Townsend - Starts Pledge Campaign, New Track Online

Some days ago, Devin Townsend announced that he was going to launch a crowdfunding campaign for his album Casualities Of Cool. The day has come: the campaign has begun, and you can pledge in exchange of various bundles here. All pledges include a free download of the album upon the May 14th release date and everyone who pledges will receive regular updates from Devin and Ché Dorval plus exclusive downloads. Once the target is reached, all other proceedings will go straight into the Z2 project, which is due to start soon.

Green Carnation - To Reunite, Announce Special Show

If you love Green Carnation, you will love this. The Norwegian progressive metal legends will reunite in the summer of 2014. It was announced that the band is going to do their second concept show A Night Under The Dam deep into the mountains in South Norway on July 31st. Katatonia - Per Eriksson Leaves, Replacement For Upcoming Tour

It has been some time coming but guitarist Per "Sodomizer" Eriksson and Katatonia have now mutually agreed to part ways. Per joined the band in 2010 as a live session player and after some substantial touring quickly became a steady fixture being heavily involved in the recording of Katatonia's 2012 studio album Dead End Kings. For the Swedes upcoming Unplugged & Reworked Tour, Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief, Wisdom Of Crowds) will perform with the band as a special guest.
