Septicflesh - 'A Fallen Temple' Reissue Cover Revealed

While their fans are eagerly awaiting their new album, Greek extreme symphonic metal band Septicflesh has revealed today the brand new cover and the tracklist of their upcoming reissue of 1998's A Fallen Temple. The cover was designed by Seth Siro Anton and the album will be released on January 17th (January 21st in North America) via Season Of Mist. This remastered re-release includes four rare bonus tracks.

Hail Spirit Noir - Releasing Second Album Next January

Well, it seems that we can expect an early treat for 2014, this time from the Greek prog black metallers Hail Spirit Noir whose debut album Pneuma was released in 2012. Titled OI MAGOI and featuring 7 tracks, the release date for this "black, filthy and psychedelic" trip is set for January 20th, 2014, through Code666 Records. Kauan - Streaming Entire New Album

Mikkey Dee - Drummer Launches New Band

A new band is born. Drummer Mikkey Dee (Motörhead), guitarist John Norum (Europe), singer Åge Sten Nilsen (Wig Wam), bassist Hal Patino (King Diamond) and keyboardist Mic Michaeli (Europe) have joined forces in a new band called Nordic Beast. Nordic Beast will play its first concert on January 31st, 2014 at Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo, Norway.

Queensrÿche - 'Ad Lucem' Mini-Movie Available Online

Queensrÿche, now fronted by Todd La Torre, recently filmed a conceptual mini-movie for the tracks "Spore", "Midnight Lullaby","A World Without" and "X2" from their newest self-titled album. The 10-plus minute story, dubbed Queensrÿche: Ad Lucem ("Towards the light"), was filmed by director Daniel Andres Gomez Bagby with producer Marco De Molina on location at Central City Stages in Los Angeles and today you get to watch it. Heidevolk - New Vocalist Revealed, New Album In 2014

Folk metallers Heidevolk have found the replacement for Joris Boghtdrincker, who left the band earlier this year after more than ten years in the group. His name is Lars (Bláhrafn) and he is involved in the projects Lost Lament, Godenbloed, Valhaz and Cut Deeper. With their line-up now complete, you can expect a new album next year to follow Batavi.

Rhapsody Of Fire - Release New Album Previews

Rhapsody Of Fire have just released their new studio album Dark Wings Of Steel in Europe but it will only be available on December 3rd in the US and December 25th in Japan. The album was produced by keyboardist Alex Staropoli, with all songs composed by Staropoli and Manuel Staropoli, with Roberto De Micheli. All lyrics were written by singer Fabio Lione. The effort features a full orchestra, a choir and real string instruments. You can listen to an almost seven-minute preview of all the songs that you find on the album below.

Quiet Riot - Find New Vocalist

Quiet Riot announced Scott Vokoun last year as their new vocalist, but that didn't last long. They have now confirmed the addition of former L.A. Guns and Ratt vocalist Jizzy Pearl to the band. He will perform his debut Quiet Riot show on New Year's Eve, December 31st in Flagstaff, Arizona. Moreover, the band is in the studio at the moment preparing their next album to follow Rehab.
