AC/DC - Drummer Sentenced To Eight Months Of Home Detention

Phil Rudd, drummer of AC/DC, now has an official sentence for threatening to kill and drug possession charges. While not being sentenced to jail, he must serve eight months of home detention. Judge Ingram told Rudd he would end up behind bars if he breached any of the conditions of his sentence, which includes 24-hour monitoring at his waterfront home.

Mord'A'Stigmata - Drops Details About New Mini-Album

Polish post-black metallers Mord'A'Stigmata have finally announced a new release to follow Ansia. It is not a full-length album but a mini-album instead which will be called Our Hearts Slow Down. You can expect it to be released later this fall and distributed worldwide by Pagan Records. The return of Mord'A'Stigmata is imminent. Enfold Darkness - Streaming Pre-Production Single

The Tennessee-based brutechnical metal maestros Enfold Darkness have released and streaming "The Dirge Of The Surrogate Invictus" here, a pre-production demo track from the band's as-yet-untitled upcoming album, due out via The Artisan Era (Inferi, Oubliette) later this year. Enfold Darkness' upcoming album was successfully crowdfunded on IndieGoGo on June 5th.

Lamb Of God - Singer Reveals Memoir Excerpts, Recalls 2010 Czech Show

In 2012, Lamb Of God singer Randy Blythe was arrested in the Czech Republic and charged with manslaughter for allegedly pushing 19-year-old Daniel Nosek offstage at a show two year prior and causing injuries that led to the fan's tragic death. In his memoir, Dark Days, the singer Randy Blythe reveals what he remembers of the 2010 show where a Czech fan was fatally injured. Blythe relates the tale of his ordeal during incarceration, trial, and eventual acquittal. The book comes out on July 14th on Da Capo Press.

Insomnium - Announce 7" Split With Omnium Gatherum

Insomnium Gatherum is happening! The two Finnish bands, Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum, are joining forces for a 7" split. The melodic death metallers will soon tour in North America together. This release is "double A-sided" (meaning, each band has their own front cover side) and contains one track from Insomnium, "Out To The Sea" (which previously appeared on the now sold-out Shadows Of The Dying Sun deluxe CD box-set edition), and one track from Omnium Gatherum, "Skyline" (which will appear on the band's new album due out February 2016).

King Diamond - To Begin Working On New Album

Last year, King Diamond released a best of compilation called Dreams Of Horror and fans started asking for a new album instead. Now it seems that their wishes are finally being granted as the band will begin working on the successor of Give Me Your Soul... Please (2007). In a recent interview with Full Metal Jackie's radio show, the legendary frontman King Diamond talked about the new album and explained that the heavy metal band will start writing after they finish the ongoing Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival 2015. He doesn't want to rush anything but vows it will be their best work ever.

Nile - Reveal New Album Tracklist

In anticipation of their new upcoming record, the masters of brutality Nile have just revealed the tracklist of What Should Not Be Unearthed, which will be released on August 28th via Nuclear Blast. Unlike previous records, What Should Not Be Unearthed doesn't have freakishly long song titles. Marty Friedman - Announce North American Shows

Revered guitarist Marty Friedman has big news for his fans in North America. He just announced his first tour of North America since 2003 ? a 21-date headlining run that will kick off September 9th. The trek marks the latest leg of Marty Friedman's ongoing world tour in support of the critically acclaimed solo album Inferno. The upcoming North American tour will start in Friedman's hometown of Baltimore and wrap up on the West Coast on October 3rd. Support will be provided by the Los Angeles-based extreme shred outfit Exmortus.
